Fable Roasters started in a tiny back room in 2020.
It was simple and chaotic. We were roasting in close quarters, packing boxes by hand, and figuring things out as we went. We started shipping coffee straight to people's homes, trying to keep a little human connection alive as we all navigated a pandemic.
We started doing free cold brew days, rolling up the garage door and turning the back alley into a makeshift drive-thru.
As time went on and "normal" life slowly opened back up, our roasting grew. We began roasting for coffee shops and local businesses as their spaces filled with people again.
Good and consistent.
Fable Roasters is shaped by St. Cloud and Central Minnesota in the ways that matter most. We create specialty coffee that is consistent and expressive. Surprising and good. Without any of the nonsense.
We spend our time dialing in roast profiles, building strong relationships, and making small adjustments that lead to great coffee. We do the work well and let the coffee speak for itself.
